Jim Linney joined the Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty team in January 2005 and has been helping his clients for over seventeen years. He works out of the Linger Longer office and knows the Lake Oconee area very well.

Jim and his family relocated from Charlotte, North Carolina. They visited the Lake Oconee area for years and finally Jim made a career change and fulfilled their dream to live on Lake Oconee.

Jim has been involved in sales for over thirty years. He owned a Manufactures Representative business in Northern New Jersey for fifteen years before moving to New Hampshire to be General Manager of Watts Regulator's Industrial Valve Division located in Franklin. After three years, the Linney's moved to Charlotte as Jim headed up sales for Apollo Ball Valves, a division of Conbraco Industries.

Golf has been the primary interests for the Linney family. During their tenure at three private country clubs, they have won over twenty-five club championships! Obviously, the Lake Oconee area is the perfect place to continue their golf interest.

Jim has always had a passion for real estate. He has proven himself over and over again with sales awards and documented customer satisfaction. He is eager to serve clients and customers with their real estate needs and enjoys working at Coldwell Banker.
